One of the trials of the summer was Miles's ear. He got a virus early in the summer with a high fever, which also burst his ear drum. He was in a lot of pain and after a bunch of doctor visits, we ended up having to go to an ear specialist.
Before or after doctor visits, he got to choose a treat. Here's one of our treats before a doctor visit.
We discovered this awesome book that I want to buy.
I'll leave off the gross disgusting pictures I took of his ear with it's crunchies, and blood, and discharge. You're welcome!
We finally got the swelling down with this tiny, small, miniscule, over $100 bottle of special medicine that healed up the ear nicely. (note my sarcasm about medicine costs). We then learned that the ear had healed and that his temporary hearing loss would recover. Good news for Miles!
