Doug's MBA

We had a fun weekend with father's day and Doug's graduation from the Keller School of Management. He graduated with distinction and we were very proud of him. He received homemade lei's from the kids of fruit loops and candy and some leis made by my Auntie Kina flown in from Hawaii. They were hand-woven and beautiful. We celebrated with dinner at a fancy restaurant in Scottsdale called Maggiano's. I'm still thinking about that Bruscietta. It was the best I ever had. The kids used their best manners and we wished we had more time to eat because it was SOOO good!

The Beginning of the Lasts

Today is our last day at church in Arizona. It's the last week of work for Doug and I. It's the last time we get to see the summer movies. It's the last time I went shopping for food so there will be less to give away. It's the last time we see friends.

I like lasts. It's not sad for me. I suppose it's the military background I've got. I don't mind change. It is interesting to be the adult that is in charge of moving and not the kid having fun in all the excitement.
