Funny Lady

There is a writer that my husband keeps sending me articles from that makes me laugh every time. Follow this link for a good read. I recommend the laundry article, the lego one, and the Magic Bag. Any mom with young children will love these!

To My Knight...

Glancing at my blog today, I see that our graduation countdown to Doug's graduation is under 100 days. 99 days from now, Doug will finish his MBA and we might actually have a conversation in the evening that doesn't involve papers, research or how many postings he needs to get done. He is a great student, who loves to learn but I think he'll be glad to be done.

He has been my knight in shining armor this week as I've had dental work and he helped out as I volunteered for as much anethesia (spelling?) as possible. He also left work to pick me up as I was stranded out at a school working with a dead car battery. He's my hero!

School Days, School Days...

I was looking through photos and found some second grade ones of Carter and Mom and Dad. Who do you think he looks like? Carter's teacher emailed us last week with some words of praise. He was so proud of himself. Here is what she said, "I wanted to let you know Carter is doing a great job so far in second grade! He seems to be very comfortable. He is still quiet, but he has come out of his shell a bit since Kindergarten. He always works hard, and I am so happy to have him in my class again! Have a great day!" We celebrated with a brownie earthquake sundae!
