December

What a month! Here are the highlights...

We discovered that Carter's cool hair is exactly like Shaggy from the Lego Scooby Doo show.

We got a lot of books from the library.

I tried to be a good mom one day and make a cake for dessert but the bundt pan tore it apart and the frosting ran out and it looked like the worst cake in the history of the world, so I covered it in sprinkles and it still looked pretty bad.  They ate it anyway.

Haleigh doing the sock matching chore which she hates.

Wyatt can often be found playing with the dog, especially staring contests.

The little boys started trying to do "cool" hair like Carter.

We got fun socks from Grandma in the mail.

Wyatt likes to roll his up in "donuts" near the ankles.

Haleigh and I ate kettle corn and watched chick-flicks.

The snow finally stuck and we found out that the dog loves to play in it.

A lot of Christmas shopping.  Here we are at Home Depot.

We had to get a lot of medical tests done which were hard on Doug and I.  I felt like this most days...

The kids loved the earmuffs I bought them and wear them all the time.

Miles continues to surprise me with this occasional "Deep Thought" which I share on FB sometimes.

Haleigh taught the little kids to do tricks like "The Hanger," "The Helicopter," "The Vacuum," and so on.

Cool Carter hair again.  Cracks me up!

I volunteered at the book fair and loved this new type of book that stretches.

The kids got a few new games from Aunt Tiffany and loved playing them everyday!

Miles waiting for everyone else to be ready for school by chilling on the couch.

Max made light sabers out of markers. It was a Star Wars kind of month.

Doug took two weeks off of work after about three weeks of waking up for early morning phone meetings and even one all-nighter.  Busy month.
