Halloween

These two little ones were often in costume the month of October just for fun.

The other boys did too.  This is when they first got their final decision costumes.

We attended a Halloween concert for the second grade.  Miles is on the top middle row.

I got to volunteer at Haleigh's class party where we decorated cupcakes.

And on the actual day, we got the candy bowls ready and headed out...

We had to hit the Krispy Kreme house first because they run out.  Free dozens to every person!

Our after party always includes pizza, Charlie Brown, mom taking away all the nut candies, and the candy trading.

Pumpkin Patch

While Doug was on a trip to Texas, I decided to try a new pumpkin patch with the kids.  We loved it and it only cost a dollar each to get in.
There were two hay mazes, one for the little kids and one for the big kids.

We picked a pumpkin each.

We climbed a giant pyramid of hay trying for the perfect picture.

I spotted this bench and took a pic to try to have it built for me one day.

They had slides

A giant corn area to swim around in.  I think that's where my diamond ended up.

A pumpkin smashing area.

A petting zoo

A hayride around the pumpkin patches

But when we got home, I noticed the next day my diamond from my wedding ring gone, so other than the perfect pumpkin day, I have that terrible memory attached to it.  It just happened to be my anniversary also and Doug was out of town so it just added to my "life sinks right now list."
