Our Easter this year was fun! I've decided that for our Easter decorations, all I've got are tons of stuffed animals though. We limited our usual thousand egg hunts so that the actual day was more fun. When the kids woke up, the easter bunny had left a colored string tied to their foot which led all over the house through every room and eventually ending at their basket. It added over an hour to our fun. That silly bunny!
This, by far, was the most popular basket item that some of the kids got. Laser guns that sound like Despicable Me 2 guns. We usually don't allow playing with guns but lasers... they're okay. To quote Woody, "It's just a little light bulb that blinks!"
For Easter dinner, we packed up and headed over to my brothers house and had a great egg hunt with cousins in their backyard. There was a golden egg to find that gave access to the money grab bag. All the kids wanted that golden egg!
The actual Easter day we had some sick kids who had to skip church so I never got my sunday picture until the next week. These two showed off their new tie/dress for the camera on the actual Easter day.
The week later, with matching ties. Finally!
You can tell Miles has been playing with the laser. We're working at not doing a shooting pose for every picture. Happy Easter!

I like the string tied to the foot idea; we'll have to try that when we have a bigger house. not fun if it only takes you 10 feet:) LOL
