For mother's day this year, Doug's mom was not feeling well and so Doug took a last minute trip out to Texas and got to spend some time with her. He took some pictures of the pictures there and had lots of good talks.
He also stocked up on my favorite Texas rub for steaks. 
In the meanwhile, the kids and I back home went out for pizza and got a bunch of speciality drinks to enjoy and boy were there GOOD!
My sister was also in town which was fun. Her husband got us a hot breakfast and later we went over to visit grandma with a bunch of fun desserts for her to try.
