We LOVE when our cousins come to town to visit. My sister and her family came in May for a conference and so we went on all sorts of adventures with them, and yes I even had the kids skip school for some of them. (Gasp).
We visited a vintage store in SLC that I'd been wanting to show my sister called Decades. It has the best stuff. Haleigh scored some suspenders and they had fun trying on things despite the over protective owner that kept giving them stink eye. We had a good dance session as we finished shopping (see video below).
More cousins joined us for dinner one night as we chowed down on chinese food. It was YUMMY and fun to see the kids eat with chopsticks.
We had a great time at Hang Time, a trampoline park which a yummy snack bar. They were fascinated by the robotic frozen yogurt machine that scoops and adds topping to a bowl of fro yo.
This is what mealtime looked like all week.
We played with candy legos one morning to get us excited to later go to Lego City, which is what we call the BrickSlopes exhibit that comes to town sometimes.
We tried out this new game, which is usually fun until really good artists like Doug, Jake and Tiff play and then they are TOO good.
Hanging around till we drop.
Burgers, fries, and fry sauce at "Grandma's Store"
We taught them to play tennis. Very fun in the rain too.
We went to the Museum of Curiosity to explore, do a ropes course and play with hands on exhibits.
We ate at JJ, our cousins, favorite restaurant.
We visited our grandpa's grave, and our grandma on mother's day to bring her treats.
Our cousin, Charlie, didn't understand that you don't pick tulips. Good thing they come back each year.
My sister and I realized there wasn't one picture with both of us, so I sent her some later.
They are moving from California to Ohio now with the Air Force and we miss them already!
