Okay...this is a REALLY long post but my kids are so cute I just have to add them all. And trust me...nothing important is happening in any of these pictures which makes this post even better.
Here's all the very important stuff (not) that we did in January.
Drink straight from the bottle!
Lifesize Jenga that falls on top of the babies and makes them laugh.
Trips to the store
Going on drives just so people will hold still for a moment and take their much needed naps.
Doug's car died one night while out with Carter and they walked home in the cold, towed the car and then we learned it's transmission was beyond repair. We bought it when Carter (11) was a baby so it's lasted a while. Here we are clearing it out to sell for parts. So long old friend!
Here's a kindergarten story Miles wrote about how mad Dad was when his car "ran out of gas."
What do you do when one of the family cars dies and has to be sold for parts? Try to forget how life stinks with only one car by drowning in milkshakes. Milkshakes are good forgetters.
About a bazillion, gabillion, quadrillion job interviews.
Capturing how Louis "sneaks in" from preschool carpool every day to scare mom by saying "Boo!"
Haleigh faking me out about a bad report card and waiting for her punishment. Straight A's! Faker!
Naked boys. The two babies have figured out how to take off their clothes...a few times a day...leaving a wet trail sometimes... driving their mother crazy. But I do love cute baby buns.
Basketball practices and games for Carter. He's quite good at defense!
Losing teeth three days in a row!
Copying mom while she exercises.
One of our family night topics. Controlling our tempers. We started at "0 Days with no temper" and working our way up to 10 for a trip out for a jamba juice. It took about a month to get to 10. We are working on getting to 20 now for a trip to Chick Fil-A. It's taking forever because we have to keep going back to zero. Sigh!
I borrowed this machine from a friend and made batches and batches and batches of applesauce from apples my grandma gave me. I...WANT...THIS! It was awesome!
A surprise treat Doug made me one night. Yum! I'm a sucker for white chocolate!
Sick kids hanging out in the guest room bored. I remember getting in trouble from my mom whenever I told her I was bored. Now I know why. My kids are constantly telling me (due to winter and sicknesses) that they are bored.
Millions of pictures of my cute boys making faces and animal noises.
The balloon Miles brought back from school that caused all sorts of fights, crying and arguing as people fought over whose turn it was to play with it.
Louis practicing his cooking skills. I can totally imagine him being a chef one day.
Wyatt wore this Superman outfit most of January and insisted we lift him up and fly him around as he yells "SuperBaby!" Here's a million shots of him that look the same because he is so adorable!
Messy Max. More food on floor, walls, head...than in his tummy.
Winter sunsets
Try to keep Max sitting in his high chair so he doesn't fall and break his head.
Haircuts and beauty shop time with mom.
Playing house.
