Trip to Florida Part 2- Disneyworld

While in Florida, we spent a day to do something I never thought I'd ever get to do...go to Disneyworld.  Doug and I have quite a history with Disney (I'll tell you the story sometime if you ask) and we've been to Disneyland many times, but never Disneyworld.  We chose to go to the Magic Kingdom.

I can never pass the waffle smell without getting an ice cream cone!

Small World

Waiting to go in Belle's house.  Doug calls me Belle and I call him the Beast.  (Again, it's a long story...)

I'm taller than Belle.  This was in her house.

It talked, blinked and moved.

Looks like my room.  Books everywhere.

The Gaston fountain.  Doug can sing his part very well in our car for the kids.

Overall, I felt bad admitting it since it was a special day, but we decided we like Disneyland better.  The rides can all be ridden with a two day pass, the lines were smaller, there is way more to do in one park while at Disneyworld, they spread it out over a few parks.  The ferry ride back to our bus was one of the funnest things we did.

Plus, we had to get our exhausted picture at the end of the day when everyone is tired going back to the hotel.  We were grateful to go, but missed the kids a lot.

I have heard a lot of people say the same things. They like Disneyland better! What a fun trip...so fun that you ran into my cousin Rebecca! What a "small world"!
