Haleigh went to skateland for girl scouts and decided that she wanted to learn. It was since then that I've discovered how determined she can be. She went from not knowing at all how to even stand on wheels, to doing pretty well. A big thank you to the neighbors for loaning us their roller blades while she learns. She would try for hours, fall, get up, fall get up and keep trying. She gets this look in her face sometimes that is so...focused. There really is no other word that fits it just right than "determined." She really surprised me.
