5 months old

Having a baby in the house adds such a layer of joy and sweetness.  Wyatt is such a good baby too. Never cries.  Snuggly.  Smiley.  The kids love kissing on him and if I had my way, I'd sit and hold him all day long.  One of my favorite things as a mom is watching the other kids hold him, talk to him and care for him.  

Before and Afters

Our goal for September which has trickled into October was to get the yard cleaned out.  The weeds were bigger than the kids.  We weren't able to get a garden put in this year so we are cleaning out the area and preparing the soil for next spring.  Here are some pics before and after.

Plans include fruit trees and garden rows, berry bushes, herb garden and more stepping stones.

Fourth Grade Map Showcase

The fourth graders were given a project to make a map of the state of Utah.  Carter chose to build a glow in the dark box with a flashlight inside and tissue paper of the landfeatures.  He loved it.  There were some really creative ones there.  To see those, hop over to my other blog HERE

First Grade Program

So poised, so proud.  Haleigh's songs about America were great.  She was very excited for her speaking part too.  She refused to look at me for a picture though.  Little stinker.  

Smoking

Did my title mislead you?  Don't worry.  It's just ribs.  Our neighbors invited us over to enjoy some BBQ and although the pictures didn't come out right...I think they captured the yumminess of the occasion.
