It's official...I'm 30 weeks pregnant, on the countdown to delivery and my fall last week landed me not only a bruised body getting over the pneumonia of January, but also a cracked rib. I'm grateful it happened now so it has time to heal before labor and delivery. But this being my first broken bone my whole life, I can now confirm that there is nothing fun about it. Sunshine and milkshakes, my dad's cure-all for any sickness is doing me no good whatsoever. In fact, my immobility is making me gain more weight than I want to. Also, every time I cough it rattles my ribs and I want to cry. So, January around our house officially stunk.
Okay, I can't be too ungrateful...Doug and I both started jobs which we love and are very grateful to have, as well as getting "caught up" and even "ahead" on a few things, so I guess I'm just being a big baby. Let's hope for a good February!

You aren't being a big baby silly. Being preggers is uncomfortable enough, when you add a whole bunch of other hurts...well, that does suck.
Yet through it all, you thought to serve us! I am amazed and impressed! Thanks again.
Holy Buckets! That sounds terrible! I hope you heal quickly and feel better soon. :-) Congrats on the new jobs!
Oh Michelle that sounds rotten!!! I hope you heal quickly!
Not fun! I hope that rib heals quickly. If your babies are anything like mine, your ribs are taking a beating from the inside as well. At least the light at the end of the tunnell is there now!
