SNOW!

It's really fun to see the kids reactions to snow.  Carter has seen and played in it, but the rest can't remember it or have never seen it.  Here's a play by play:

Haleigh looking at a snowflake on the windshield:  "It's just a little fuzz!"

Miles when seeing snow outside the window for the first time:  "Snow balls!"

Carter on the way to school:  "Why is there snow on one side of the tree branch and telephone pole, but not on the other side?"

Miles after stomping through slush:  "Snows is cold and wet!"

Miles when going outside to see the snow for the first time.  Doug held some in his hand, Miles leaned over and smelled it and said, "Yuck!"

It had somewhat melted by the time school was out but that didn't stop Haleigh and Miles from playing in there.  They did snow angels, snowballs and just laid in the snow till they got too cold.  Everyone keeps telling me we'll be sick of snow by Feb, but I think the kids will love it the whole winter.  They've been in the desert too long!

Jason and I can't wait to hear about how you and the family feel about snow when there's three feet outside rather than an inch or two!! Glad you're all enjoying it.
