Louis's Day

I've been meaning to post about the fun we've had with a baby in the house...Louis. He is now four months and can't seem to stop eating. He is double his size and wears nine month clothes. A friend threw a shower for us a month or two ago and decorated so cute with pumpkins, cider and a project of tie shirts.

The next few pics are from Louis' blessing day. In our church, a baby is given a blessing by a person (usually a Dad) who holds the Melchesedik priesthood. He is given a name and then a blessing with a circle of priesthood holders who have been asked. We had Louis' the weekend after Thanksgiving and were pleased to spend the happy day with Michelle's family members who were in town. Doug gave a wonderful blessing which I may post when I get the transcript from my brother.

This was so funny because all the small children stood quietly and smiled with no crying, moving or fussing. It actually freaked the mom's out how it was a little "too easy" to take a group shot.

By the end of the day, Miles was exhausted and as our guests left after a luncheon, he climbed up Carter's bunkbed ladder and immediately fell asleep with his leg hanging over the edge like this. Good thing he cleared the top in time! I'll post pics of the luncheon when I get them from my sister.

The cousins admiring the freshly bathed and handsome star of the day...Baby Louis!

I really like the kid in the background saying that he is "like 5 inches..."
