Holidays 2015

Prepare for picture overload because I'm lumping all our holiday fun into one long post of mostly pics with captions.  Ready, set, GO!

Haleigh got a new dress for Christmas and felt pretty when we straightened her hair.

Carter and I bet that once he gets taller than me, I owed him a Jamba.  We measured one night at FHE and I was determined to win that day.

Lots of nights sleeping by the Christmas tree.

The kids decorated a new ornament with their school picture in it.

We wrote our letters to Santa.  Haleigh went through a few drafts always changing it from "very good" to "mostly good" to "pretty good" to "kinda good."

We went to Denny's for dinner and the Festival of Lights afterwards.

Over to Jason's house to do gingerbread houses.  Grandma and Grandpa had just gotten to town.

Slumber parties in mom and dad's room.

We went to the Utah Symphony to see Bugs Bunny with Gpa and Gma. They show video while playing.  Very cool! I love when we get to go to cultural events like that.

I introduced my gma to beignets on a visit one day.

Doug, of course liked them too.

We did our traditional trip to the dollar store so the kids could buy each other gifts.

A new cereal is always a big hit!

Carter made a new movie starring Miles the secret agent elf.

We visited Santa at the mall.

We hosted a Christmas Eve 7 course dinner and show.

Haleigh shared Max's acrobatic talents in our show.  Miles and Louis MCed it with Carter's script.

Maisy sang "I wanna hippopotomas for Christmas" and then Carter gave her his.

Grandpa danced his heart out.

Jeni and Joc played piano solos.

Louis read us a book he wrote.

Carter premiered his movie.

The kids performed a nativity play with carols.

Time for the 7 course dinner!

Time for stockings!

Christmas morning

We tried to teach Willy to rub my back with the command "Massage."

Max wore this hat almost every day.

We went to the Norman Rockwell art exhibit which was awesome!

We had lots of free time to hang out and play.

We made another movie with Carter for a school project called "The Club."

New Years Eve was full of games, chinese food, air hockey, and bingo.  Carter cleaned his room out and offered all the stuff he didn't want anymore as prizes.

Doug found these and couldn't decide.
