The build up to Christmas

I better get these Christmas posts done before it's February!  

Here's some of Christmas Eve at our house.  We did gingerbread decorating. 

Max was going crazy trying to reach all the candy.  He is in that climbing stage which can be exhausting for the mom! 

This little microphone which changes your voice into an elf's voice was the most fought over toy all holiday season.  Mostly Wyatt kept it, hid it, and ran away fast before anyone else could have it. 

Snow fun outside.  Since Christmas, there's been no snow which makes us sad since we've been dying to go night sledding to chase our glow sticks down the hill!

Our traditional seven course Christmas Eve meal on our finest china.  I tried a new recipe this year...white chocolate mouse with cookie topping or raspberry sauce.

We can barely fit around this table anymore!

Then we did all the last minute preparations...put out cookies for Santa, get our stockings ready in their spots, get our laundry baskets next to their spots for all the new toys, open one gift (new PJ's) and then off to bed!
