Monster Movie Night

The kids school had a movie night where they watched Monster's Inc. with popcorn and drinks.  It was a packed house but the kids had fun.  For next year, I'll remember to sit nearer to the bathrooms and bring a chair to sit on for me.  Doug ended up taking the two little one's home early while the three older one's and I walked home in the freezing snow.  We only live a few blocks away but were frozen by the time we got back.    

Eye Doctor

All the kids recently went to the eye doctor where we discovered that Carter needed glasses worse than Haleigh needs them.  So...

Little boys turn at the doctor.  Luckily no need for glasses for them yet.  

The final glasses choice once they arrived.  I think he looks quite handsome and he feels like a real author now. 

Fun with Wyatt

In honor of my birthday boy today who is turning one, here are some videos of him.  I think of him as my gift from God.  All my kids are, but we ran into lots of stumbling blocks getting him here and our whole family has found him to be such a joy.  Happy Birthday Wyatt!

Zoo Day

We found out that the zoo in Salt Lake City offers free admission on the last day of every month in winter so we bundled up one cold morning and headed out.  It was a small zoo compared to Phoenix, but the kids loved seeing animals nonetheless.
