Carter's CampOut

Carter went on the first campout without his dad in early summer.  It was tough on him, with a small bout of flu and dehydration.  I was proud that he tried his best and stuck it through, but he was definitely happy to get home.  I think he may be a hotel person, like me. He did see some amazing sights though!

Haleigh's and Max's Bday

In early summer, we celebrated Haleigh turning 11 and Max turning 4.  We started off with Haleigh getting her ears pierced for the third time! We went to a new place and bought the top of the line studs so they hopefully would work this time.  She was nervous but then glad she did it.  

She chose to have a friend party this year so we took some gals to the pool where they swam, ate junk food, and had a great time.  

For Max's day, he got McDonald's breakfast which is a big hit around here (especially on my wallet!).  I love all his faces on these pics!  Four is my favorite age!

We then went to the mall to see Finding Dory as a family.

We  also continued this years tradition of getting their very first Build-a-Bear.  

End of School

The end of the school year came fast with less "shows" than normal.  We watch Louis perform in his first grade final performance though.

"I'll do anything if you let me skip school for 29 more days. I'll clean toilets. I'll give you kisses!"
