Winter Clothes
This is our first and only thing that will keep the 6 of us dry and warm this fall and winter. Haleigh got a cute pair of pink rain boots. She intentionally walked through as many puddles as she could find one day when it rained. I better start looking around for some gloves, coats, hats, boots, scarves...what else?

Primary
Miles has been loving his sunbeam class at church. They do lots of fun drawings and crafts like this awesome looking hat with a feather. He thinks he looks good! I agree. I've been recently called at church to work in primary (I know...no surprise) and I get to be Haleigh's teacher. We are both loving it.

Haleigh's Hair
When Haleigh was 2, she and Carter played beauty shop and he used the real scissors, jipping me of almost two years of braids and curls. Well, we are making up for it now. After her initial whining of knots, she lets me french braid, braid, curl or do whatever to her hair. It is so fun to have a girl! Here she is doing her usual model poses after using curlers for church. She loves to take them out, dump her head over, shake it really big and then laugh at herself in the mirror.

My Helpers
This reminds me of something Haleigh said the other day...She ran in after helping Doug in the yard and said, "Mom! You'll be so proud of me! I was working so very hardly!" It sounds funny when you say it outloud. Makes sense though. Makes sense.

My Kindergarten Girl! (and crazy brothers)
Kindergartners started a week after the other grades and so here are the pictures of Haleigh's first day. She was so excited to go, that none of us could do our usual crying on the first day of school. The night before, Carter helped paint her nails so she would look nice. She is doing her fancy lady pose below. She chose for her special day blueberry muffins for breakfast, and tacos for dinner. We picked her up afterschool with a surprise bouquet of balloons.
