Eastertime

I wanted to re-vamp the way we do Easter this year to make it more Christ-centered, and yet still magical for our phase of life.  I had a great time scouring the internet as I avoided homework one day and came up with some great new ideas to try.

Here are the sites I liked in case you want to check them out.

Sadly, all my pictures of actual Easter Sunday got erased when I got a new phone.  So, there are no memories documented for all time of their pure joy at finding eggs, and enjoying their baskets.  Oh well...we had fun and even got to go see cousins.

Some pics I do have are:

We always have a basket of holiday themed books.  Here are our Easter and spring books.

Baskets ready to egg hunt and be filled by the Easter bunny.  They were also used all month to store toys.

Our table of hopping chicks, frogs, and bunnies, plus a ton of our easter stuffed animals.

March

March is always a hard month for us.  We are counting down till spring break, sick of winter and sick in general, and feeling the need for an energy burst.  Here are some things that got us through.

Haleigh has suddenly become the worlds most motivated reader.  She has a pile of five books on her desk ready to go.

Louis is known for eating the hugest breakfast!

Max had a few scratches on his face, that he kept scratching and scratching till finally, I just band-aided his face all over so they could finally heall.

Trying out bangs and curls for a new 'do.

Cookie Time

The cookie fort, before deliveries, followed up by lots and lots of booths.
